Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Hibbs IT collects through this website, why we collect it, and how it is handled.

Last updated: October 2026

01What we collect

When you submit a quote request or a website project brief, we collect the information you choose to give us: your name, email address, phone number, business details, project requirements, and any files you upload.

We also receive basic technical information that any website receives when you visit — such as your browser type and general location derived from your IP address — where analytics are enabled.

02How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote or project proposal, deliver services you have engaged us for, and keep records of the work.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use your project brief for marketing unrelated to your enquiry.

03How it is stored

Submissions are stored in Hibbs IT’s application database. Access is restricted to authorized Hibbs IT administrators.

Files you upload (such as logos, brand guidelines, or design references) are stored privately and are shared through time-limited access links rather than public URLs.

Email notifications are delivered through a transactional email provider.

04How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond, quote, and provide services — and afterwards for a reasonable period for business recordkeeping. When records are no longer needed, they are deleted.

05Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you have submitted, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email us and we will action reasonable requests.

Consent to be contacted about a submitted request can be withdrawn at any time; withdrawing consent may mean we cannot continue with a project.

06Cookies and local storage

This site uses local browser storage to preserve an in-progress website project questionnaire, so you do not lose your answers if you leave the page. That draft stays in your browser and can be cleared at any time.

No advertising cookies are set by Hibbs IT.

07Third-party services

We use service providers for hosting, database storage, email delivery, and file storage. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

08Security

Access to submitted enquiries is limited to authorized administrators. Uploaded files are stored privately. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share with us.

09Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent to alex@hibbsit.com. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible.

This policy is a general template prepared for Hibbs IT and should be reviewed against the legal requirements that apply where the business operates.
